How I Began with Pixel Art Just thought I'd share with you my personal journey in pixels. When I first started with pixel art, it was to make myself an avatar on my old account, Star--Sprout (https://www.deviantart.com/star--sprout). I used MS Paint and had virtually no idea how the heck pixel art was made. This was my first pixel piece: (8/10/12; 12 years old) Note how it isn't even 50x50. xD I immediately scrapped it after uploading, ashamed of it. Using the trackpad for pixel art proved to be a challenge! Yet I cranked out a few more icons, this time animating using a few cheap animating websites.
